From Sydney and the South

• From the city, follow Pacific Highway north to Wahroonga
• Turn onto the F3 (Sydney Newcastle Freeway) & drive for approx 1 hour
• Take Cessnock/Hunter Valley exit (Freeman Drive) & follow signs to Cessnock for approx 30 minutes. You will drive through towns of Freemans Waterhole, Mount Vincent, and Kearsley.
• At Cessnock (intersection of Aberdare Rd & Vincent Street), turn right into Vincent St
• Travel along Vincent Street to the T-intersection of Maitland Road & Vincent St, turn left, then right immediately into Allandale Road
• Proceed along Allandale Road (past McDonalds, Potters Brewery & Cessnock Airport) for approx 10 minutes
• Allandale Road changes name to Wine Country Drive
• Continue along Wine Country Drive (drive past Broke Road)
• Turn left into Palmers Lane (look out for Peacock Hill winery as a landmark)
• Travel along Palmers Lane until you reach McDonalds Road, and turn right
• Drive for 1 km to The Vintage (you will pass Bimbadgen Estate winery)
• Turn right into Vintage Drive, drive past the Exhibition Village & Golf Clubhouse for approx 1km
• At the large roundabout, turn right into Claret Ash Drive & travel down the hill to the next roundabout
• Do a U-turn & drive 50m back up the hill to the Grand Mercure driveway & Reception.

From Newcastle and the North

• Proceed to Hexham & follow signs to Cessnock via Kurri Kurri (total trip time from Newcastle to The Vintage is 1 hour)
• Drive along Maitland Road, and turn right at the traffic lights into Allandale Road
• Proceed along Allandale Road (past McDonalds, Potters Brewery & Cessnock Airport) for approx 5 minutes
• Allandale Road changes name to Wine Country Drive
• Continue along Wine Country Drive (drive past Broke Road)
