Arrival and Departure
You can check-in after 2:00pm and check-out is before 11:00am.
Travel Time
The Grand Mercure Apartments, from Sydney CBD, is approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes, and from Newcastle CBD approximately 55 minutes.
Hotel Reception Hours
The hotel reception is open daily from 8:00am to 6:00pm Saturday to Thursday, and 8:00am to 8:00pm on Fridays. Please call reception on (02) 4998 2222 for after-hours check-in instructions if you are arriving outside of these hours.
Apartment facilities
Every apartment is fitted with the following facilities as a minimum standard.
- Small kitchen with stove top and microwave
- 230 litre refrigerator
- Washing machine and dryer

Please call reception for a full range of local wine tours, cellar door recommendations and restaurant contact details.
Local Transport
Cessnock Taxi service – 4990 1111
Cessnock taxis are your best resource for last minute transport around the wineries and local restaurants. On a Friday and Saturday it is recommended to book in advance.

Golf
The Vintage golf course is available 7 days. Call the Pro Shop for bookings on (02) 4998 2500.
Preferred pricing is available for guests of the Grand Mercure Apartments, please contact reception to purchase golf vouchers for The Vintage Golf Course.
Fitness & Recreation
A fully equipped gymnasium, heated lap pool & tennis courts are available every day for in-house guests.
Swimming Pool
An outdoor heated pool is available in the centre of the resort, and is open daily between 7am and 9pm.
Tennis Courts
Our floodlit outdoor tennis court is located next to the gym and recreation area. Bookings can be made with reception at the Chateau Elan on 4998-2500.
Tennis racquets and balls are available from The Grand Mercure Reception.
Internet - Wireless Broadband
Wireless Broadband is provided throughout the complex (Provided complimentary).
Spa & Massage Services
Massage, beauty therapy and facial treatments are available at several spas located within minutes of the hotel. Please enquire with Hotel reception.
